Jen Jis (aka Antoine Chatenet) is a French producer and songwriter. Based in Paris, he began his professional career writing and composing tracks for European artists.
In the meantime, he was also touring the world (China, Europe, US, Canada) with several other projects. After an international commercial synchronization deal for the perfume "Les Cascades de Rochas" and over 300 concerts, he decided to focus on his own career. It is right after he came back from China that he created Jen Jis and began working in his studio surrounded by Electro ‘French touch’ artists (Point Point, Birdy Nam Nam, Ed Banger dj’s). He also collaborated with the French deep house DJ's Feder and Joris Delacroix.
His first single, "Women," a deep house pop song composed with the singer Lawrence Lea, earned him a contract deal in 2015 with Ultra Records even before the track was released on line.
Then, Jen Jis spent a long period in Los Angeles where he met many producers and composed his second single ’24 Hours Ago’, a catchy and original track mixing electronic deep vibe and Indian sounds. He also met Jordan Young, a mixer and producer (The Chainsmokers, Oliver Heldens and Beyonce) who was really seduced by the track and decided to help him carry through the song, giving it the power and efficiency of the US sound.
Jen Jis is now signed with Universal Music / Polydor. His next single will be released end of 2016.
