More than a meteorological phenomenon, the mist is in the collective unconscious one of the best representations of some human emotions. A natural allegory of mystery and dream, melancoly, and sometimes even magic. Responsable for very particular visual atmospheres, It’s been frequently used by many movie directors, even giving it a central role in thier movies, like John Carpenter with « Fog » for exemple. It’s for all these reasons that Quentin Kysyl appropriated the mist, going up to take it’s french name, « Brume », feeling it was the perfect representation for the emotions and the visual identity that he wanted his musical project to reflect.
